Here’s a photo of one of my recent decoupage projects, a candle holder decoupaged with a rose napkin.

Hi Maggy
Decoupage is very old technique, but today I like to just simply explain to you .
About accessories:
1. Scissors, paper knife for cutting images
2. Cutting board
3. Clear glue: Elmer’s glue, Mod Podge all or others clear seal glue.
4. Acrylic paint OR Wood paint or indoor paint, furniture( it’s very comment in Egypt)
last one about images
*Any images you can use it accept inkjet print,(inkjet color is easy mess melt or fade out)
*if you use napkins you need give a light or white background and only use first layer of napkin.
about other art media effect I will try to show you in video.
not sure its help you. but very thank you leave me the comment.
Hi
Unfortunately i’ve just seen yr reply !!!!!
To be honest; I wouldn’t expect that you gonna reply….but while I surfing yr blog right now trying to revised yr vedio on wooden tray decopage, I found yr reply….very happy to read it & of course yr blog helped me a lot with this great art…..I made a lot of gifts for my sisters & friends…they liked them so much
BTW, I asked my sister who leaves in Boston to get me yr napkins while she came back in Ramadan, so I shared yr blog with her
Thank you so much for reply & thank you for being the main reason of practicing this elegant kind of art
My warmth regards from Egypt

It’s my pleasure!

In your intro to your blog, you misspelled the word demoing which should say demonstrating instead. Was probably a fluke of typing, just thought I would let you know. Bye for now.
